Overview
StreemIOT is a platform to allow a client (e.g. from a laptop or mobile) to access and control remote IOT devices. Data control can be both light (e.g. remote relay control) or heavy (e.g. video stream). Custom StreemIOT software can be installed onto generic devices (e.g. the Raspberry PI) to provide an on-premise physical node in order to interface with other systems and devices within a LAN environment. Alternatively a StreemIOT 'Virtual Device' can be created on standard Linux/Windows server in situations where the use of physical hardware is not necessary.
My Role
My responsibility is to lead the development of the software. Research and develop the technology required for the platform, resolve issues and perform integrations with external 3rd party hardware or systems.
