Overview
The LumenEye X1 medical system combines a proprietary hardware offering (endoscope) with a custom developed partner software (which is also part of the CHiP software platform). The purpose of the X1 is to deliver high quality imaging of the human anorectum for medical practitioners. The software supports still image snapshot and live video recording as well as real-time audio and video communications for collaboration.
My Role
As cloud video technologies architect I was responsible for overhauling the existing prototype WebRTC communications system and replacing it with one that was reliable and ready for production.
Deliverables
A production-ready software stack for the real-time communications sub-system.
