Overview
The CHiP platform is a proprietary software/hardware platform which allows medical practitioners to communicate and collaborate in real-time across the internet. Supporting full high-quality, low-latency audio and video transmission and the ability to integration with professional surgical equipment, CHiP takes the concept of remote digital communcation and turbo charges it for medical specialisations.
My Role
As cloud video technologies architect and lead developer for the CHiP platform Web/Hybrid stack, it was my responsibility to research, design and implement the necessary hardware & software solution to produce the communications systems for the CHiP platform. This included both the client devices and backend server infrastructure.
Deliverables
The real-time communications software stack for the CHiP platform and required hardware specifications.
